Replace Interior Doors
Using specially milled interior doors that can easily be re hinged to match your existing door openings you can have embossed panel and cathedral doors installed in your home in a very short time.
Replace interior doors. Measure down the side pieces and drill a hole through each from the outside edge. Measure about 1 in 2 5 cm from the sides of the header. Some blank doors have a specific swing direction.
Align the top edge of both doors and use the existing door as a guide for marking the hinge placement on the new door. When replacing your door it s important that you measure everything correctly or your door may not open or close properly. Open the door and stand with your back to the hinges.
If the doorknob is on the left you need a left handed door. If the knob is to the right select a right handed door. Drill a 1 16 in 1 6 mm hole down through the top of the header.
Measure the distance from the edge. Changing your internal doors is a very simple way to transform the look and style of your home. You can easily replace your interior door with a few simple tools and some consideration.
Hold a piece of cardboard against the wall to prevent your tools from damaging it. To replace your door remove your old door get a new one that fits and attach the new one to your door frame. Use a speed square to mark the top and bottom of each hinge on the new door.
Place the existing door on top of the new door.
