Non Adjacent Interior Angles
Alternate interior angles are the pair of non adjacent interior angles that lie on the opposite sides of the transversal.
Non adjacent interior angles. Two angles that share a side and a vertex but do not share any interior points. Adjacent angles must be next to each other not one on top of the other. Non adjacent interior angles may also be referred to as remote interior angles an exterior angle is formed by one side of a triangle and the extension of an adjacent side of the triangle.
Cod and aob are referred to vertical angles. Cod and aob are non adjacent angles. Suppose you start walking around the building which is a polygon in shape so as you turn each corner the angle you pivot is an exterior angle.
If we know a is 65 and b is 70 we can just add them to get 135. A linear pair forms a straight angle which contains 180ยบ so you have 2 angles whose measures add to 180 which means they are supplementary. 1 and 3 2 and 4.
Another way of defining them is. Have common vertex common point have common side also known as common arm must not overlap they should not have a common interior point. Non adjacent interior angles may also be referred to as remote interior angles.
Cao and boa are non adjacent angles. Let study exterior and interior angles of triangles. An exterior angle is equal to the sum of the non adjacent interior angles.
Adjacent angles are those. The measure of an exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the measures of the two non adjacent interior angles. If two angles form a linear pair the angles are supplementary.
